The Rescue course is designed to teach what to do after an accident has happened, prevent problems in the first place, and help improve your own diving skills. The course prepares a diver for anything from surface assists to full rescue of an unconscious diver underwater. It teaches techniques and management of a rescue scene.
The course runs two days, about six hours each day. Most of the rescue scenarios are done from shore in front of the Carib Inn. Prerequisites are: Advanced Open Water, current CPR and First Aid certification and academics online through PADI. Cost includes tanks, air, weights and PADI processing. A Bonaire Marine Park tag, which is required for all diving.
